Mend Your Computer!

Recently, I saw a lot of my friend's notebook and complained it for being very slow. They had a lot of desktop shortcuts and widgets, unnecessary start-up programs, and installed unused applications. At the first time to boot, it needs about 3 until 4 minutes until the computer is ready to be used. When I tried to open some applications like web browser and music player, the computer response is starting to react slower. After initiating some research, I found that the main problem is because there are a lot of start-up programs that took most of the memory. After I continue some research, I found again that the main partition was heavily fragmented and a lot of registry errors. It took about two minutes to open Microsoft Office or any other heavy-weight applications.

For the love of God, mend your computer! It's not that I'm trying to control your life or whatsoever, but trust me, things will become easier with more responsive laptop. You will value your laptop responsiveness best when you in a hurry and this tip will save your day. You don't have to be an IT student to mend your computer.

I will give you some tips regarding optimizing your computer. First, reduce the amount of start-up application. This would effect a lot to the boot time. Second, remove any unused application. Third, defrag your hard drives. Fourth,  fix the registry errors. After that, I'm pretty sure that your computer will be more responsive than ever. :). Don't know how to operate any of the techniques? Just Google it. It would be to long if I explain it one by one. Good luck. If spend some hours with your computer, it will save you from a lot of accident in the future.
